2010 was the sixth year of the TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards. The awards ceremony was held at the Wrest Point Casino on September 11th. Designed to recognise the hard work of well managed organisations, the TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards showcase TACC members who have strong business plans, positive relationships with staff and goals for their future. The awards are divided into the major categories of the Motor Industry and judged by TACC on a strict criteria. The Mechanical Repairer of the year is a hotly contested category, and this year saw a smaller repair shop take out the award. The night was probably the most successful event held since the inception of the awards, with some 290 guests in attendance. The awards winners this year are listed below:
