TACC is made up of small and medium businesses in the retail automotive industry across metropolitan and regional Tasmania.
It provides key services to members in the repair, services and retail sectors of the automotive industry.
The automotive industry is a key economic driver in the State of Tasmania and is recognised as being world-competitive.
TACC is the voice of the motor industry in Tasmania and often comments in the media on matters related to the automotive sector, small business, and safe motoring. Its aim is 'to make a difference' for the good of the industry and the wider community.
Malcolm Little is the general manager of TACC, and he is supported by Vicki Knight who is the office administrator, Linden Clark the area manager, Peter Spencer the Nth/NW part time area manager, and Tony Roberts who is the field supervisor of the TACC/VACC Group Apprenticeship Scheme in Tasmania.
