TACC Executive Committee
The Executive Committee comprises up to 10 members of no more than two from any of the following categories - New car dealers, Used car dealers, Auto electrical repairers, Body repairers, Auto recyclers, Tyre dealers, Towing operators, Motorcycle dealers, Mechanical repairers.
The executive committee is elected every two years by the members, from members. The chairman and vice chairman of TACC are elected by the executive committee, from members of that executive committee. There are also two members of The TACC executive committee who are elected to represent TACC on the VACC board of management. The TACC executive committee meets every quarter to discuss any relevant issues that may impinge on TACC or any of its members in their ability to conduct business on a daily basis. Each member of the executive committee reports on current issues and business trends relevant to their specific area of expertise. The executive committee also discusses ways to continually promote the chamber to members and consumers.
TACC members are able to contact any executive committee member with any issues they may wish to be brought to the attention of the executive. The new chairman of TACC is Mr Michael Grubb, and vice chairman is Mr Larry Eaton.
